ANDREA CREWS Fall/Winter 2010

This just released from the creative recycled-fashion/performance workshop in Paris, run by Andrea Crews. …a preview of the Fall 2010 looks, from what appears to be a randy theatre production… (photos from the Andrea Crews monthly newsletter: it’s like a peek into a parallel world constructed of familiar objects, dance-crazed characters, esoteric rituals…! Worth subscribing to…) […]

Henrik Vibskov, below, and selections from his Menswear Autumn/Winter 2010 show, The Slippery Spiral Situation. Adam you crazy diamond

My cousin Adam sends me photos every now and then (he lives in Northern California, somewhat off the beaten path…) and I think they’re pretty great… beyond humorous… really brilliant. He’s been a chemist, a surfer, then a sailor, now a woodsman. What next?? (… In the picture below, he and a buddy hand-built the fireplace, […]

Lineaire T-Shirts from Spring!

We’re starting to receive Spring 2010 styles… which inspired me to post these pictures, as a contrast to the look-book photos, showing the Lineaire T-Shirts look good with your grandpa’s jeans too! The floaty shape of the chiffon and the intense color (a dark royal blue) is striking with denim or black.

Back in the Game

It’s been busy, but after a month of absence, I’m back! Returned from New York on Sunday, where I visited with friends (Robin Cameron & Aurel Schmidt)… met new textile suppliers at Premiere Vision Preview …looked at art… new store environments… A few photos from the trip: in Central Park, (zoe) a street scene in the apartment (Bruce […]
