I’ve also been look­ing at the Gee’s Bend quilts again, through the book Gee’s Bend: The Archi­tec­ture of the Quilt . The visual inspi­ra­tion from these art­works is untold for me.

I added some exam­ples below, of the cor­duroy & denim quilts, fea­tur­ing recy­cled mate­ri­als (how a quilt is defined in my view)…although just a few in the pro­lific tra­di­tion of Gee’s Bend quilt-making.
